Go Caroling Day

Putting together the calendars for Activate! over the last several years has resulted in me knowing about all sorts of random named days. One has always stuck with me, and this year I decided to take action: in case you didn’t know, December 20 is Go Caroling Day. I am not sure who came up with this date or day, but I do think it is a tradition worth honoring.

AOSA 2013 Conference Highlights - Part 7

Perhaps the most engaging and memorable moment was sharing with participants on Thursday afternoon.  I shared my love of Jewish and Hebrew music to over 150 participants in those sessions.  We sang traditional canons and children's singing games as well as danced "Ve David" and "Zemer Atik", two traditional Israeli dances.  Participants included teachers from around the world.  What a wonderful chance to make music with the talented attendees of the AOSA Professional Development Conference in Denver!
